Silent Auction!

January 25, 2012

Dear 2012 JA Bowl-A-Thon Contributor:

On Saturday, February 11, Junior Achievement of York County will hold its 13th annual Bowl-A-Thon at Strikers Family Sportscenter in Rock Hill. Kids, volunteers, business and community leaders will come together to bowl and interact while raising money for Junior Achievement. We would like for you to consider donating items for the silent auction. The silent auction continues to gain popularity each year. In the 3 years the silent auction has been held, it has raised over $2,000. This is an important yet fun component of the day. Names of the donors will be prominently displayed for all participants to see during the event.

More than 110 people from local businesses and schools have fun while raising money to support the continuing growth of JA’s programs throughout schools York County. JA programs are delivered by corporate and community volunteers, and provides relevant, hands-on experiences that give students from kindergarten through high school knowledge and skills in financial literacy, work readiness and entrepreneurship. Over 5,500 students will participate in JA programs within Chester, Lancaster and York County schools this year.

Thank you in advance for participating in the 13th Annual JA Bowl-A-Thon. We are sure that February 11th will be a successful day for Junior Achievement.

Sincerely,
